Company history
The history of the company began almost a century ago, in 1917, when the factory of pads and wooden products named after Kliment Efremovich Voroshilov moved from Pskov to Rzhev. The main backbone of the specialist workers were Latvians, who came after the equipment, recruiting reinforcements from local residents to help them. 100 people, additional machines - that's the whole enterprise.
1917
The Baltic Factory of Pads and Wooden Products was launched on the right bank of the Volga River
1918
Testing time. There was a shortage of food, raw materials, fuel and severe wear and tear of equipment was already noticeable. One crisis was replaced by a stage of recovery, then difficulties arose again
1943
The destroyed production facilities of the factory were restored. The main building, substation are being overhauled, equipment is being installed. On the basis of the destroyed shoe factory, a furniture production enterprise was created
1943
A vocational school was organized at the factory to train young specialists in the woodworking industry
1945
Pressing and metal-cutting equipment is installed at the production sites of the furniture factory. On the basis of the factory, a mechanical factory began to be created
1946
By order of the Minister of Light Industry of the RSFSR, the Zenit mechanical factory was created on the basis of the furniture factory in the city of Rzhev, which was equipped with equipment at the expense of special supplies
1949
The Petrovsky factory in the city of Berezniki, Molotov Region, was relocated to a factory with the production of wind-resistant lanterns "7F-1"
1950
The factory switched to self-financing. There was money and the opportunity to start building a power factory, a mechanical repair shop, and two wooden semi-detached houses. New buildings were built on the new upper platform of the factory. The team has established the production of a more complex product - the Volga and Rzhev sewing machines
1957
In accordance with the Decree of the Council of Ministers of the RSFSR No 1326, the factory "Im. Petrovsky" renamed the Rzhev Sewing Machine Plant
1962
It is planned to manufacture internal combustion engines - outboard motors "Moscow"
1963
The factory was renamed the Rzhev Machine-Building Plant. At that time, the company already employed over 5000 employees. Machine-building factory became the leading factory in Rzhev
1972
The factory switched to the production of industrial products: automotive and tractor electrical equipment. In this regard, it became known as the Rzhev Plant of Automobile and Tractor Electrical Equipment (ATE-3) and was enrolled in the structure of the Ministry of Automotive Industry
1992
Privatization is over. It was the first privatized factory in the city and the second in the Tver region. Rzhev ATE-3 Plant was renamed into Open Joint-Stock Company "Automobile and Tractor Electrical Equipment"
1994
The enterprise was renamed into the Open Joint-Stock Company "ELTRA". In 1996, it was renamed into the Open Joint-Stock Company "ELTRA" ("Tractor and Automobile Electrical Equipment")
2000
ELTRA was the first enterprise in the city to fit into the market economy. On the basis of ELTRA and the ATE-1 factory (Moscow), a concern of "manufacturers of Automotive and Motor Equipment" - abbreviated as PRAMO - was organized. Later, it included the Likhoslavl Radiator Plant and the Stavrovsky Electrical Equipment Plant. The strategic alliance made it possible to significantly increase the production potential of each of them
2007
A Russian-Slovenian joint venture for the production of small-sized geared starters PRAMO-Iskra was opened on the territory of the enterprise
2008
On the basis of the production facilities of ELTRA, the legal entity PRAMO-Electro was established for the development of the product line of generators. The range of products has expanded significantly, now the company produces starters, generators, thermostats and windshield washers
2013
The entire production line for the manufacture of thermostats, windshield wiper systems and windshield washers was completely transferred from the Stavrovsky Plant of Automobile and Tractor Equipment in the Vladimir Region. The UAZ Patriot has a Rzhev starter and alternator
2014
ELTRA completed the consolidation of production assets at PRAMO-Electro, in turn, fully focused on the transformation of the existing property complex into a modern industrial park capable of providing opportunities for the development of both internal tenants, such as ELTRA Management Company, PRAMO-Electro and PRAMO, and external investors
2015
The year was a landmark thanks to the development of about eight new products. The most significant of them was the generator for the Pavlovsk Automobile Plant (PAZ), which replaced the single-kilowatt generator with a one-and-a-half-kilowatt generator 3032-3071-10. Also, new solutions were developed for Rostselmash - a generator for combines model 3152, and work began on the production of three-kilowatt generators for KamAZ
2016
In 2016, 10 new modifications of generators were introduced to the market. Among them, it is worth noting the generator for KamAZ model 4542-20. Generators for Avtodizel, TMZ and GAZ also continue to be relevant and in demand
2017
The closure of the Electron factory led to the fact that the company was approached by the Diesel company with a request to develop analogues of all existing generators. As a result, 20 new generators for agricultural and special equipment were created during this period
2020
The production of electric heaters for KamAZ engines was started. Two-kilowatt generators were also developed for special equipment, in particular for the Zavolzhsky Motor Plant, which uses them to complete UAZ and various modifications of generators for boats
